Website SEO diagnosis: what to fix before you change the site

A focused review of one website: what gets in the way of crawling and indexing, which keywords competitors cover and you do not, and what to fix first.

Before you rebuild a template or commission a content plan, find out what is actually holding the site back. This diagnosis reviews one website and gives your team an ordered list of what to correct and which content to prioritize.

You can buy it on its own, before any website work starts. It does not require an AI visibility study.

Talk about your site

Four reviews to choose from

Technical

Technical SEO and site access

We review crawling, indexing, site structure and access to content on the templates that matter. You get prioritized corrections and a findings session of up to one hour.

Keywords

Keywords and content against competitors

We compare your site with the competitors that appear in the analysis and the ones your team names. You get the keywords you do not cover, topics and content opportunities, a prioritized editorial recommendation and a findings session of up to one hour.

Combined

The combined diagnosis

Both reviews above with one consolidated findings session of up to 90 minutes. It replaces the two separate reviews, and it is where we suggest starting when the site is about to change.

Traffic

Traffic and organic search performance

We read the data available in one GA4 property and one Search Console property, up to 12 months back. You get a baseline, the findings and a session to review them.

How we treat the evidence

Automated tools produce long lists quickly, and some of what they flag does not matter. The review is where a list becomes a set of priorities.

Review

We check findings before you see them

We confirm that the important page templates are represented and check the key findings before presenting them.

Data

Search data stays separate from AI suggestions

Data from search providers and suggestions generated by AI appear as different things in the report. A generated search volume is never presented as an observed one.

How this differs from the AI visibility study

They read different things, and neither replaces the other.

This diagnosis answers

  • Can search engines crawl and index the pages that matter?
  • Which keywords and topics do competitors cover that you do not?
  • What does your Search Console and GA4 data show so far?

The study answers

  • Do AI assistants mention or recommend your brand?
  • Which competitors do they name instead?
  • Which sources do they cite?

Google says foundational SEO best practices remain relevant to its generative AI Search features. That guidance applies to Google Search, not every assistant. To learn what assistants say about you, run the study. You can buy either one first, or both.

What stays outside the diagnosis

  • Implementation. We quote the agreed corrections separately, once the list exists.
  • Content production. Calendars and briefs belong to content strategy, and your team writes and publishes.
  • Tracking repairs and dashboards. The traffic review reads the data you have. It does not rebuild how you collect it.

When not to buy this

Your question is what AI assistants say about you

A website review cannot answer that. Start with the study.

You are in a migration or a sudden traffic loss

That calls for an investigation, which this focused review is not. Tell us what happened and we will quote it separately.

You want a guaranteed ranking

Nobody controls where a search engine places a page. A provider promising positions is selling something they do not control.

Questions

How much does it cost?

Each review has a fixed fee, and you get it in writing before we start. It depends on which reviews you choose, how many websites you include and whether you need extra sessions. Page count alone does not set it. Send us the site and we will reply with a quote.

What do you commit to?

An ordered list of corrections and opportunities based on evidence we reviewed, and a session where we explain it to your team. Whether rankings or traffic then move depends on what gets implemented and on what search engines and competitors do, so we do not commit to that.

How many competitors do you compare?

There is no fixed limit. We include the ones that appear in the analysis and the ones your team names, within one category and one market.

Can you make the corrections too?

Yes, as a separate quote for the corrections you agree on. The diagnosis is yours either way, and your team or another provider can work from it.

We have several websites. How does that work?

Each review covers one website. Tell us how many you have and we will scope them together.

We are an agency. Can this go out under our name?

Yes. See the partner page.

Start with the site and the decision

Send us the URL and what your team is about to decide: a redesign, a content plan, a new market. We will tell you which review fits.
